Eagle Ridge
Next School Eagle Ridge came into being after the local school district closed Tamassee Salem School. the community rallied to continue to have a local school in the town and Next Charter School offered to partner to fill the void. Put together in less than eight months Eagle Ridge was opened in 2016 and successfully completed their first year in the community. The strong community belief that students should have a well rounded education experience complete with arts and athletics lead to the creation of the Eagle Ridge Arts and Athletics Foundation. This foundation is dedicated to providing funding to help support arts and athletics in the Salem community school. The Appalachian Homecoming will be the 2017 major fundraiser, although it will be in no means the only one. We will continue to work hard to provide the artists and athletes with all they need to become everything they are destined to be.
